科技能够帮助农业缩小一半温室气体排放

　　EU - Unless greenhouse gas emissions from food consumption are reduced substantially, EU climate targets will not be met, according to a new study from Swedish researchers.Currently accounting for about 25 per cent of greenhouse gas emissions, emissions from food and agriculture need to be cut by about three-quarters by 2050 to meet the targets.Researchers at Chalmers University of Technology and SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden studied a range of measures for cutting food-related emissions. Besides reductions in beef and dairy consumption, they found that technology improvements will be crucial. Under favourable conditions, better technology could cut these emissions by as much as 50 per cent.

　　据瑞典(Swedish)研究学者的一项最新研究表示，除非由食品消费引起的温室气体排放大量减少，欧盟天气目标才干实现。目前约有25%的温室气体排放来自食品和农业，因此农业需要缩减四分之三的规模，到2050年达到目标。查尔姆斯理工大学(Chalmers University of Technology)和瑞典的SP技术研究所的科学家研究了一系列措施，缩减食品相关气体排放。除了减少牛肉和乳制品消费，他们发明技术的改进至关重要。在有利条件下，更先进的技术能够缩减超过50%的气体排放量。
